On the west side of Douglas Avenue, a pond forms by the dam that holds up the flow of the West tributary before it flows under the road. On the far side of the pond is the North Providence shopping center - known as Shaw's Plaza to many. Unlike the shots at Barney and Butterfly Ponds, the birds seem to prefer to swim above the dam here. but they were just as inquisitive at our first arrival.
