Here the Moshassuck demonstrates one of its straight-aways that shows the ability of man to alter his environment. We're still following the highway up in front of us, but behind we have a park with ballfield - lined by a fence as the river isn't exactly integrated with the park. Winter brings a certain quiet to the parks in Providence and yet the river makes impressive gurgling sounds as it flows through the colder weather days.
